Adventures For the Cure (AFC) is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization and USA Cycling Club that exists to raise awareness for Diabetes, to show those diagnosed with Diabetes and their families how leading a healthy and active lifestyle can move you beyond your perceived limits, and to raise funds for Diabetes research.  AFC loves to help other great causes that are making a difference.

The organization has also set out to inspire others to live healthy lifestyles and to adventure beyond their perceived limits, because ANYTH!NG Is Possible.
Upcoming races/training:
Winter '09:  Base training for Race Across America 2009
March 28th, 2009:  Mountain bike race in Patapsco put on by Adventures For the Cure sponsored by Princeton Sports.
April 19th:  Baker's Dozen (13hr mountain bike race)
June 20-26th:  Adam and Pat along with their support crew race in Race Across America as a 2 man team.
Summper '09: Road racing
Fall 09:  Cyclocross racing

Past races/accomplishments:
2006:  6500 miles across the country on fixed gear bikes(documentary made along with 45,000 raised for causes)
2008:  4th place 4 man team in Race Across America on Surly Fixed Gear bikes.
Princeton Sports has been a big key in the success of Adventures For the Cure.  They have continuously helped us keep our bikes in working order.  They also played a integral role in helping us finding other sponsors to help with our causes.
