Princeton Sports is an active participant in the triathlon community. Each season we sponsor and support several major local events, including the Columbia Triathlon an Iron Girl Columbia. Our team members are some of the first faces you’ll see on race day—we’ll be there with you at 5 am at the park to pump up your tires and field your questions. Our vans will be riding along with you providing first-aid and mechanical support, and don’t be surprised if you hear Mr. Davis himself on the megaphone! Check out the Event List on our Community Page for all of your race & event information.

Many of our employees are seasoned triathletes who have competed in local events and know these courses like the back of their hand. From packet pick-up, to transitions, to training rides, we know all the ins and outs of fully prepping you for a successful and fun race day! We can outfit you with a tri suit, equip you with all the proper accessories, and even optimize your old bike to be race ready. For information on NEW triathlon bikes, visit our bicycle page to read up on our current inventory from Cannondale.

If you’re from out of town attending a local race, we are always happy to give your bicycle a free safety inspection, and answer any questions you may have. We keep course maps on hand, as well as maps to packet pick-up, tri-expos, and the race location. Come to Princeton Sports for all of your triathlon needs!

For more information on local races and other ways to get involved, visit our community page for a full line up of our sponsored non-profit organizations, training rides, and event information. We also have a calendar listing our upcoming events, clinics, races, and meetings.

Triathlon/Time Trial Bikes

Triathlon/Time-Trial bikes are designed to be aerodynamic by streamlining the profile of the rider and the bike to eliminate dirty air. They feature aero bars for speed on descents and flats, and a geometry that shifts you forward so that about 60% of your weight is on your front wheel. In contrast, when riding a road bike, approximately 40% of your weight is on your front wheel, and 60% is on the rear wheel for stability and powerful climbs. Because of this weight shift, is very important that riders on Tri/TT bikes are confident in their bike handling skills before riding in groups!

We know our triathletes don't mess around, and that's why we carry only the very best – our bicycle department stocks the Cannondale Slice for men and women. Fast, light, and comfortable, this carbon fiber bike is sure to get you to finish line in record time!

Gear junkies rejoice! No matter what triathlon accessory you need to ensure your next race is a personal record, you will find it here at Princeton Sports. We have a great selection of race belts, hats, KT tape, race bottles, quick laces, nutrition, aero bars, the list goes on and on... Come see us today for all your race or training needs!
